The common entry test program has been launched by University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. The entry test will be for the first time conducted online and once for all, the importance of Virtual University (VU) has been realized. The services of VU will be used for conducting the entry test. Entry Test conducted will be valid for B. Sc Engineering and B. Sc Engineering Technology Programs for all public sector institutes of Punjab.
Entry tests are conducted online for the very first time, therefore, the facility of mock test is also available to the candidates. However, it is not mandatory for the candidates to attempt mock tests. The entry test will be conducted on 13th and 14th June with mock tests to be conducted on 6th and 7th June respectively. The tests are conducted online, hence, no rechecking request shall be entertained at the later stages. The results shall be declared on June 15th by midnight.
Firstly, the students need to purchase test token from designated branches of a private bank and then fill in the application forms. All the candidates willing to appear in the entry test shall have intermediate qualification with either engineering, mathematics or physics background. As per recent announcement of NCEAC, the students of medical background are also eligible for the entry tests. The last date for the submission of application is June 2nd, 2020. In case, internet facilities are not available, any of the computer laboratories provided can be used for filing the applications.
All of the candidates will be required to bring admit cards along them with the Computerized National Identity Card or any other document of similar nature for photo-id evidence.
