Ministry of Education announces opening up of educational institutes

The province of Punjab has finally taken the lead with announcing the revised schedule of exams and opening up of all educational institutes. The provincial ministry of education has instructed all the institutes including schools, colleges and universities to open up their campuses from June onwards. All the institutes shall open up their campus from June 01, 2020. Schools will be required to carry out their functions from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning. However, the timings of primary schools will be further shortened in comparison to the timings of secondary schools.

Timings will be fixed at four hours for even those schools that run their operations in double shifts as both shifts will be for four hours each. The school assemblies in morning and lunch breaks shall remain cancel till August 14, 2020. This is due to the reason that same timings shall be followed till August 14, 2020 and the timings will be reverted to normal schedule from August 15, 2020. The public schools have been allowed to open their admissions from nursery to eighth grade. Admission will be open from June 01, 2020. More importantly, the examination for matriculation and intermediate will also be conducted in the month of June.
