Some of the leading countries in the world have started an online certification from Home Platform for its students using Microsoft Certifications. Among those top countries, Pakistan has also joined the cause and has made all Home Platform based certifications available. HEC and Microsoft have mutually agreed to an agreement in which certifications to first 2000 students will be totally free.
This will be a major step towards bridging the gap in education and employability as students will be able to acquire professional skills while sitting in their homes owing to the spread of covid-19. Partnership between Microsoft and HEC covers all private and public sector universities with multiple program offerings for the students. Few of the specialized certifications include Productivity, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, IT and Infrastructure. Exams will be conducted online for the issuance of certificate of these certifications.
