First Smart School launched in Islamabad

A mutual collaboration between Alight Pakistan and Future Development Holdings are able to successfully build first smart school in Islamabad. It is a first of its kind school within the country which will aim to facilitate all out-of-school children. Such children will be taught free of cost and transformed into students of this smart school. The learning within the school will be based not only on basic education but life skills will also be taught to the students. Building is located in one of the posh areas of the capital city, whereas, a specially designed building will be used for school.

Building of the school was gifted by a Doha based foundation, Education Above All (EAA), whereas, the designing of building has been completed by a world famous architect late Zaha Hadid. This smart school will be used for educating one million students that are out of school. Agreement for smart school was signed between the parties in office of FDH, Islamabad. Zahid Rafiq, Chairman of FDH group said that this project is solely selected for the purpose of uplifting the marginalized group of society. The statistics show that there are over 22 Million children out of school, therefore, this project is very important in bridging this gap.
