The international organization QS has released the international ranking of universities by subject.
According to the details, Punjab University has shown excellent performance in QS ranking in terms of subject. 15 subjects of Punjab University were ranked internationally.
Punjab University was ranked among the world’s top 101-150 universities in the field of petroleum engineering, while in the ranking of religious sciences it was included in the top 101-130 universities of the world.
On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed said that 7 faculties of Punjab University improved their ranking, in 2017 not a single faculty of Punjab University was ranked internationally, in 2019 for the first time 3 departments of the university were ranked, 2020 In 5, 2021, 13 and in 2022, 15 subjects were ranked internationally.

He further said that Punjab University has become the 145th best university in Asia from 232. In the international rankings, the university has grown by 16% in 4 years.
