12th class exams are conducted by BISE Quetta following a schedule released by themselves. These examinations are conducted during the months of May and June, however, on few occasions, they might start in April of every year. Similar procedures and guidelines are followed for conducting exam with few minor changes to be made. The review committee made by BISE Quetta reviews the SOPs and suggests changes (if needed). The conduct of 12th class exams is based on BISE Quetta Board 12th Class Date Sheet. All the exams are conducted one after the other as firstly, matriculation exams are conducted and then intermediate exams. By looking at the conduct of exams in the chronological order, firstly, 10th class exams are conducted followed by 9th class, then 12th class and lastly, 11th class. Likewise, same scheduling is followed for practical papers.

BISE Quetta was established in 1976 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Ordinance. The board has gained the status of being an autonomous body in the region.
