The entire country observes examination for various classes during 1st to 2nd quarter of the year. The two most important examinations in the country are Matriculation and Intermediate. Once a student successfully passes matriculation, the candidate is promoted to the level of intermediate. The most important examination at inter level is 11th Class Exams as it is the entry level examination. The examination of 11th class is dependent on BISE Lahore Board 11th Class Date Sheet 2020 as it is not made public yet. BISE Lahore is one of the oldest boards among all the other educational boards not only in Punjab but across Pakistan. Students are usually attempting exams at this time but the scenario is totally different this year. The situation has just turned on its head as no one had through that such moments of nervousness will creep in. Date Sheet of 2020 is facing a delay owing to the situation of corona virus in the country. Nevertheless, the boards are trying hard to conduct exams as soon as the situation gets better. However, BISE Lahore is actively promoting different ideas which could be used as an alternative plan of examinations.
BISE Lahore was the first educational body established by government back in 1955. The emergence of Pakistan gave birth to many newer regulatory and governing bodies. Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore was formed to conduct matric and inter examination on annual basis. The country was run on ad-hoc basis for first eight years but formulated officially in 1955. The board was responsible for managing the educational workload of maximum areas covering West Pakistan. Jurisdictions of BISE Lahore included the entire province of Punjab, Balochistan and most of the Northern areas of the country. There were major bifurcations made in BISE Lahore which became the reasons of BISE Bahawalpur, BISE Sargodha, BISE Multan and BISE Rawalpindi formulation. These bifurcations were made in the mid to late of 1970s’.

The current jurisdictions of BISE Lahore include Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Lahore. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that BISE Lahore has the largest student network in the country. The major reason of such a strong network is the number of huge educational institutes with increased number of students. The increase in number of institutes has caused a tremendous increase in the number of students. BISE Lahore is one of the most efficient educational bodies in the country as it carries a legacy with itself. The various functions performed by the board are of multiple types including the conduct of exam, awarding scholarships to students, issuance of NOCs, issuance of result cards, providing data to students, entertaining the requests of students and arranging extra-curricular activities within the areas of jurisdiction.
The revised schedule of examination is just around the corner as BISE Lahore with its successful efforts have pushed all the boards for conducting a joint meeting pertaining to the conduct of exams. Joint committee of all boards known as Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) have scheduled an online meeting in which important decisions regarding the exams conduct or its postponement will be taken. The decisions shall be taken with discussion by all the Provincial Boards Chairmen including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and KP along with AJK and GB. The probable date for the conduct of exams will be either in the month of June or July. The results can then be announced between the months of September to October. All the boards are looking to move forward with a joint strategy for the conduct of exams.
