The months of March, April and May are dedicated for conducting examination. One of the most important exams for the students is 11th class. Firstly, the most important exam is Matriculation and passing of that examination results in enrolment into Intermediate level. The first examination which is carried out during intermediate is 11th class exam. BISE Federal Board 11th Class Date Sheet 2020 was planned as per its pre decided schedule but was postponed for an indefinite period owing to the situation of corona virus. There are no such official announcements by BISE Federal Board but they are constantly searching out for a possible solution. BISE Federal 11th Class Date Sheet 2020

BISE Federal Board is known with the name of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). It is located in the capital city of Islamabad. The board was formulated under Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1975. The scheme of studies and curriculum is different from the other educational boards. It not only differs in curriculum but has a different paper pattern too. However, the marks and grading system still remains the same. The examinations are conducted simultaneously with all the other educational boards. The closest board operating in close proximity with Federal Board is BISE Rawalpindi. Federal board is directly managed under the Ministry of Education and Professional Training, which is under the control of Federal Government of the country.

Federal Board is an autonomous body with empowerment in its administrative and financial control for organizing, regulating, developing and establishing internal controls. The major responsibilities of the board include the conduct of examination, dissemination of course curriculum for all matriculation and intermediate classes, ensure the required facilities at affiliated institutes and take measures for promoting physical well-being of the students. The aim of federal board is to provide country with a transparent, fair and efficient examination system with a futuristic perspective. The jurisdiction of federal board includes Islamabad, Federally Administered Northern Areas and all overseas students. The board has its two other sub-offices in Gilgit and Skardu. Other than that, Federal board also conducts exams for all international Pakistani students in Middle Eastern and African countries.

All the boards in country reports to their respective provincial board and all the provincial boards work under the Ministry of Education. However, all the provincial boards are members of a joint forum with the name of Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC). The forum conducts meetings on various issues and takes decisions unanimously. In current times of crisis, IBCC has been given the task of deciding on key issue of whether to conduct the exams or postpone it. A recent online meeting has been scheduled among the boards using an online platform. The meeting shall be completed in different halves as the decisions can have larger implications. The Chairman of Aga Khan Board will head the meeting and he informed that all the issues included as agenda will require discussions at length.

Along with all the other provincial educational boards, an invitation has been sent to Chairman of Federal Board as well for attending the meeting. Agenda of the meeting involves primarily the agreement on schedule of exams along with that other key areas of discussion will be if postponed then what could be the way forward otherwise if conducted then what shall be the protocols for conducting the exams.
