11th Class Exams are conducted during the month of May and practical exams going into the month of June. The exams are conducted by various educational boards working under the banner of provincial educational boards. All of these boards conduct exams based on date sheets announced and publicized for the students and institutes. BISE Bannu was also planning to conduct exams based on BISE Bannu Board 11th Class Date Sheet 2020, however, the situation changed rapidly. This change in situation was caused by the situation of COVID – 19 across the country. As a precautionary measure, all the papers were postponed and date sheets were suspended for the time being. Nevertheless, much time has passed but now the time has reached that a final decision shall be taken by BISE Bannu regarding the conduct of exams.

BISE Bannu 11th Class Date Sheet 2020
BISE Bannu was established in 1990 as BISE Peshawar was bifurcated which resulted in creation of more than one educational board. Currently, there are eight different educational boards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and out of those one is BISE Bannu. The board is now working since last three decades and has carried out its functions very efficiently. BISE Bannu is committed to enlighten the minds of youth with provision of quality education and transparent examination system. The functions of the board include the conduct of Matric, Inter and other Pakistani languages examination, registering and withdrawing the affiliation of the institute, fix and demand fees in lieu of various services, appointment of examiners, inspection of affiliated institutes, awarding scholarships and ensuring the conduct of sports activities.
BISE Bannu was formulated under Northern Western Frontier Province Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1990. However, the board is currently administered under the same act but now it is known as KP Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act. The board currently conducts examination for over 700 institutes of public and private level. At the time of formulation of BISE Bannu, it had control over Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Tank, North Waziristan and South Waziristan. After the establishment of other educational boards, the jurisdictions of the board were reduced. Currently, the jurisdiction of BISE Bannu includes 2 districts and 1 agency, Bannu and Lakki Marwat as its districts and North Waziristan as the only agency. The board was operated in the building of a government institute until it shifted to its own building in 2002. The office of the board is located in the area of Township with provision of accommodation facilities for its staff.

These days, there is an overwhelming response of the students and institutes as they are demanding the revised date sheet to be shared. BISE Bannu had made it loud and clear on their website regarding the conduct of exams, however, there are certain talks scheduled between the boards for announcing the revised schedule of examination. BISE Peshawar is leading the way in putting forward their suggestions to the KP Board. A recent development which is positive in regards to this is that an online meeting has been scheduled between all the educational boards of the country. The meeting will take place from the respective offices of all Chairmen of the provincial boards by following the protocols of social distancing.
The agenda of meeting involves few key decisions including the conduct of exams and the change in pattern of the exams. There are high chances that remaining matric and intermediate exams might be conducted in the month of July with results to be declared in September. The most expected change in the exams of 2020 is that practical papers might not be conducted for the first time in their history. The elimination of practical papers is considered for maintaining social distancing and completing the papers on time. This will also result in revising the grading structure as total marks of the intermediate and matric are not changed.
